When a severe hail storm struck Hurst, Texas, in August 2020, Family Bethel Worship Center needed a reliable commercial roof replacement to restore safety and integrity to their structure. FOX Roofing & Solar’s Project Manager, David Chavez, worked closely with the church’s pastor to ensure a seamless process—from navigating insurance approvals to selecting the perfect asphalt shingles. The congregation ultimately chose GAF Charcoal, a color that complemented the newly painted exterior of their worship center.

During our thorough inspection, we discovered the existing roof deck did not meet current building codes. By providing proper documentation, we expanded the scope of work to include a complete re-deck, ensuring long-term durability and adherence to safety standards. We also installed a Class 4 Impact Resistant Roofing System, which not only bolstered protection against future hail events but also helped the church reduce its annual insurance premium.
